Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, received Engineer Khaled Raslan, Chairman and Managing Director of Car Gas, and Engineer Mahmoud Saleh, Chairman and Managing Director of Butagasco, in the presence of Dr. Islam Ragab, Deputy Governor, Major General Magdy Al-Waseef, Secretary General, Engineer Hend, Assistant General Manager at the Supply Directorate, Mr. Mostafa Gaber, Director of the Labor Directorate, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Raouf, Assistant Chairman of Car Gas for Financial Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Ismail, Assistant Chairman of Car Gas for Legal Affairs, Engineer Khaled Omran, Director of Economic Affairs, Engineer Sameh Saad, Director of Natural Gas in Matrouh, and a number of directors from the relevant departments. The meeting discussed efforts to expand vehicle natural gas fueling stations after the successful launch of the first station in downtown Marsa Matrouh. Another station is currently being operated at Kilometer Three at the city entrance. Expansion plans are also being studied to make services easier for car owners and taxi drivers in the governorate, including inspecting a proposed site on Alam El Roum Street to establish a natural gas center, while studying feasibility, designs, and the legal framework. Coordination with the Traffic Department was also discussed to study a proposal for opening a service outlet to complete natural gas vehicle procedures during license renewal, making the process easier for citizens.
